Soul Guided Healing & Wellness, LLC mission is to provide culturally-sensitive mental health therapy for women and girls of color that encourages empowerment, healing, and alignment with their highest self. We provide therapy and wellness services for Black women and women of color in Virginia. Our therapists are committed to helping you uncover and heal from those traumatic experiences, manage depression and anxiety, and debunk the myths and beliefs you have about yourself. We strive to provide you with the necessary tools to embrace your highest self boldly. Our therapist will show up to each session non-judgmental, compassionate, and supportive of your healing journey.  So, we encourage you to take the first step and prioritize your mental well-being. MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Felicia Chandler

"I believe women of color deserve a space where they can just BE.

Felicia Bowman Chandler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She received her Bachelor’s of Science and her Master’s of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

Felicia is the Lead Therapist/ Clinical Director for Soul Guided Healing & Wellness, and she also serves as a Medical Social Worker.  She enjoys creating spaces where Black women can prioritize their mental health, address trauma, and embrace their inner black girl magic through healing.

 

Felicia specializes in serving individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma ( physical abuse, sexual abuse, mental/emotional abuse), conflict with their identity + self-esteem, Depression/ Anxiety, and women’s issues. In addition to those specialty areas, Felicia works with women who express frustration with life transitions/adjustment, imposter syndrome, work-life stress, and chronic illness ( this includes HIV/AIDS).

 

During treatment, Felicia uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused- CBT, Person Centered Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, and other conventional, evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Felicia also incorporates deep breathing, stress management, and somatic trauma approaches in her therapy sessions.

 

Felicia has been recognized as a game-changer by the United States of Women and Style weekly’s 40 under 40 for continuous work for women of color and girls. She believes women of color deserve a space where they can just BE. Be free of pain, stress, and the weight of the world.
